DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women’s cross country team travels to Cary, N.C., Friday for the 22nd annual adidas XC Challenge. The women’s cross country competition, slated for a 6 p.m. start, will take place on the five-kilometer WakeMed course.
“A lot of the girls have run the [WakeMed] course before, so it’s nice that they have a frame of reference from a fitness standpoint,” head coach Christine Engel said. “We’re really looking forward to opening up Madison [Granger] and closing up some of those gaps following the [Duke] Alumni Meet we had.
