DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s cross country team raced to a sixth place finish in the 41st running of the ACC Cross Country Championships Friday morning on the Franklin Park Cross Country Course in Boston.
The Blue Devils tallied 179 team points to earn their sixth-place finish, while defending champion NC State reclaimed their title with 67 points to finish first. Notre Dame placed second with 68 points, followed by Syracuse (83), Florida State (128) and Virginia Tech (161) to round out the top five teams.
“The ladies ran very composed and ran with a lot of heart,” said head coach Rhonda Riley.
