DURHAM, N.C. – Five members of the Duke women’s swimming and diving team have qualified for the NCAA Championships, as announced by the NCAA Wednesday.
The Blue Devils featured five swimmers who received invitations in nine individual races for the NCAA Championship meet March 20-23 in Austin, Texas. All five of Duke’s relays are also eligible to compete at the national championships.
Duke’s divers will have an opportunity to qualify for the national meet at the NCAA Zone B Championships in Auburn, Ala., March 11-13.
Senior Maddie Hess will make her fourth career appearance at NCAAs, earning top-35 seeds in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 and 200 backstroke.
