DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s cross country team earned its second sweep in three years against crosstown opponent NC Central Saturday, downing the Eagles, 15-40, at this year’s running of the Bull City Classic in Durham, N.C. The contest, which coincides with the Duke and NC Central football game scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff, marks the third meeting between the two teams as a part of the Bull City Classic.
“It’s nice to be in front of the home fans,” head coach Christine Engel said. “We don’t really get that opportunity often to race at home, so it’s really nice.
