Duke Track and Field hosted the “Battles of the Blues” meet Saturday on campus in Morris Williams Stadium between the Blue Devils, Michigan, and North Carolina. Both programs performed well for Duke, with the women’s team breaking several records in their first place finish.
The men’s program finished in second place behind Michigan in the final standings. Several Blue Devils had great individual performances, including Jeremy McDuffie, who also plays safety for the football team, earning first place in the 100m hurdles and the men’s triple jump. Duke finished in the top two spots for the 800m with senior Dylan Murphy edging out freshman Matt Wisner.
