GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore MaryEllen Targonski captured All-ACC honors in platform diving to highlight the final day of competition at the 2016 Women’s ACC Championship. The Blue Devil women closed out the four-day conference meet in sixth place with a total of 642.5 points.
The sixth-place finish was the highest for the women’s program since Duke took sixth at the 2010 ACC Championship.
"We are really excited that we made a nice jump,” said head coach Dan Colella. “It's us really getting ready to make some moves here.
