DURHAM, N.C.—The preseason recognition continues to roll in for the Duke men’s lacrosse team in advance of its 2018 season opener Saturday. The Blue Devils, the preseason No. 2 according to the nation’s coaches, have been picked as the preseason co-favorite to win the ACC title in a vote of the league’s five head coaches. They also are the No. 1 team in the Inside Lacrosse preseason poll.
Both the Blue Devils and the Fighting Irish received 17 points in balloting among the ACC’s five head coaches. North Carolina followed with 12 points and was selected third, while Syracuse (9) was picked fourth and Virginia (6) fifth.
