Duke Visits Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

NEW YORK CITY – One of the best parts of bowl week is reaching out to the local community and interacting with the youth of the area.

On Wednesday, members of the Duke football team took a trip to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center. The center has devoted more than 130 years to exceptional patient care, innovative research and outstanding educational programs.

The Blue Devils split into several groups to visit patients. Duke’s players spent time talking with patients as well as signing autographs and Duke’s 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl poster and taking pictures while spreading some holiday cheer.
