Duke Ties for Fifth in DSG Collegiate Stroke Play

NASHVILLE – The Duke men’s golf team finished the stroke play portion of the DICK’S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup in a tie for fifth place after shooting a collective 295 (+11) on Saturday.

Sophomore Adam Wood paced Duke on Saturday, shooting an even-par 71 to move into a tie for 13th place. The Zionsville, Ind., native was consistent on the day balancing two bogeys with two birdies and converting 14 pars. He finished the stroke play portion of the event with a total of 214 (+1).

Sophomore Jake Shuman wrapped up DSG stroke play in a 16th-place tie with a total of 215 (+2) after carding a 75 (+4) on Saturday.
