KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Duke men’s golf team shot 293 (+5) as a group on Sunday to finish the first day of the Kiawah Classic by Aramark in a tie for seventh place.
The Blue Devils will head into the second round just six shots off the pace set by Charleston Southern with a first-round 287 (-1).
Junior Max Greyserman carded an even-par 72 on Sunday to pace the Blue Devils, finishing the day in a tie for 16th place. Sophomore Adam Wood shot 73 (+1) to wrap up the day in a tie for 28th, while freshman Alex Smalley and junior Matt Oshrine both shot 74 (+2) to complete day one in a tie for 42nd.
