The Blue Devils fresh off their loss to Michigan State welcome the Bellarmine Knights to Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game marked the first division I game for Bellarmine and the Knights acquitted themselves well against the top 10 ranked Blue Devils. Duke jumped out to a 14 point lead and the game looked like a runaway early on the strength of 6-13 from beyond the arc. Bellarmine battled to within a 3 point deficit before Duke pulled away with a 7 point run to end the half and lead by 10 at the break. The Blue Devils played the majority of the first half without freshman Jalen Johnson who was saddled early with 2 fouls and only managed to play 3 minutes.
