LA QUINTA, Calif. – The sixth-ranked Duke men’s golf team wrapped up its first spring tournament with an 11-over 295 on Wednesday to finish in 10th place at the 15-team Prestige at PGA WEST.
The Blue Devils completed the event with a three-round total of 865 (+13), just two shots off of seventh place. LSU, ranked No. 28, blitzed the field Wednesday with a 265 (-19) to claim the title with a total of 826 (-26).
"It was a rough day from a scoreboard perspective," head coach Jamie Green said. "Nobody ever likes moving backward.
