DURHAM, N.C. – The fourth-ranked Duke women's golf team received its 26th consecutive bid to participate in NCAA Regional action Wednesday as the Blue Devils were seeded No. 1 in the Madison Regional and will next travel to Madison, Wisc., from May 7-9 to play for an invitation to the NCAA Championship. The regional will be played at University Ridge Golf Course.
“We are excited,” said Duke head coach Dan Brooks. “I have been on that golf course. We had nationals there. It is a good golf course and it is challenging. I was hoping we were going to get on a golf course that is going to separate teams a little bit and I think we got that course.
