DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke University men's lacrosse team will open the 2020 campaign ranked sixth according to the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook released Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Blue Devils finished last season tied for third in the national polls after advancing to the NCAA semifinals.
Reigning NCAA Champion Virginia comes in at No. 1, while semifinalists Penn State and Yale are second and third, respectively. Maryland and Penn round out the top five. All five of the ACC programs are ranked in the top 11. Duke is slated to face nine of Inside Lacrosse's preseason top 20, including five of the top 10.
