CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Duke posted a .366 hitting percentage while holding Virginia to a .198 clip as the Blue Devils swept the Cavaliers 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-14) Saturday evening in Charlottesville, Va.
Duke (12-10, 7-5 ACC) knocked down 45 kills to Virginia’s () 31 while also outdigging the Cavaliers 33-26.
“We came out tonight and really worked together as a team,” said head coach Jolene Nagel. “We know Virginia is a very talented team and if we were going to be successful, we had to go after it.”
Junior Jordan Tucker paced the offense with 13 kills, marking her fourth straight match with double-digit kills.
