Duke Suffers 6-1 Setback to No. 2 North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Duke dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 2 North Carolina on Sunday afternoon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

The Blue Devils fall to 9-8 on the year and 4-4 in ACC play, while the Tar Heels improve to 15-1 and 7-1, respectively.

North Carolina registered the doubles point after victories on court one and two. In a nationally ranked matchup between No. 5 William Blumberg and Brain Cermoch and No. 15 Sean Sculley and Garrett Johns, the home side earned the 6-2 win to begin doubles play.
