The new polls are out and as we’ve said before, we follow the coaches more closely.
In that poll, Duke and Virginia are #1 and #2. Florida State and Virginia Tech clock in at #9 and #10 respectively while UNC is #15 and NC State is #19.
It’s really too bad that Miami and Notre Dame are significantly down because the ACC could conceivably have eight teams in the Top 25 if they were up to their usual standards.
Incidentally, four teams that Duke defeated are also ranked: Texas Tech is #11, Auburn #13, Kentucky #14 and Indiana is #22.
