CARY, N.C. – The Duke men’s tennis team began the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional with a 10-6 record. Only singles action took place Friday at the Cary Tennis Park as the Blue Devils captured five main draw victories with three of their eight players advancing to the Round of 32 in the main draw.
Leading the way on Friday were senior Josh Levine, junior TJ Pura and freshman Adrian Chamdani, who all went 2-0.
Purawas the first Blue Devil to move to the main draw Round of 32 as he earned a 7-5, 6-2 win versus Warren Bryan of UNC Greensboro in his first match.
