It wasn't a pretty game but it was a growing game for Brandon Ingram among others.
Mike Krzyzewski used the terms “workmanlike” and “hard-fought” to describe Duke’s 82-59 win over Buffalo Saturday afternoon.
He also used the word “tired,” noting that this was Duke's ninth game in 22 days.Buffalo never really had a chance to win but they did make Duke work for everything.
It was a strange game, one in which Duke’s starting center had one rebound and four assists, the starting point guard had no assists but four rebounds and the shooting guard grabbed 11 rebounds--all on the defensive end-and was called out by the head coach for not shooting enough.
