DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke 2018 sprint medley relay team’s record breaking performance at the Penn Relays a season ago, was recorded as the seventh fastest time in the world in 2018, which was announced by Track and Field News on the 2018 World Men’s Lists in the latest edition of the eTrack Newsletter.
The Blue Devil’s sprint medley relay record was the oldest Duke relay record still standing, having been set in 1971 by a foursome that included Jon Krassny, Mike Murphy, Bob Wheeler and current assistant sports performance coach Jeff Howser.
