DURHAM, N.C. – Following a stellar season-opening performance at the Raleigh Relays, the Duke track & field program will compete in front of the home crowd this weekend, hosting North Carolina and Michigan for the Battle of the Blues April 1-2 at Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium.
“Overall, I think optimism abounds in our program,” head coach Norm Ogilvie said. “We’re really looking forward to the team competition this weekend at the Battle of the Blues. Any time there’s a home meet at Duke, the kids get extra fired up.”
Kicking off the 2016 outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays this past weekend, Duke combined for 29 top-10 finishes during the two days of competition.
