Duke Set for Final Competition of Fall Campaign

DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women’s tennis team is set to open its final tournament of the fall season Friday, serving as a satellite site for the Kitty Harrison Invitational. The three-day event, split between Durham, N.C., and Chapel Hill, N.C., and played in a hidden-dual format, includes 18 teams.

In addition to Duke, 10 teams attending the invitational are scheduled to compete in Durham, including Penn State, Virginia, Texas, Michigan, LSU, VCU, Rice, South Carolina, Maryland and Elon.

The Blue Devils open Friday’s competition with doubles action against Virginia at 10 a.m., before returning to the courts at 11:30 a.
