The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) recently released the organization’s list All-America honors, and Duke senior Kerrin Maurer was named a First Team All-American after her performance with the Blue Devils this season. Mauer is also a finalist for the 2015 Tewaaraton Award for the women’s lacrosse Player of the Year.
Kerrin Maurer has had a historic career for the Blue Devils, becoming Duke’s all-time leader in assists (117) earlier this year and she’s currently 2nd in career points (278). The Setauket, NY native, who received Second Team All-America considerations last year, also earned All-ACC First Team honors this year, is leading the Blue Devils in points, goals, assists, and draw controls this season, and has earned at least one point in 46 consecutive games.
