GREENSBORO, N.C. – After wrapping up the regular season Sunday, the No. 22 Duke men’s tennis team has earned the sixth seed in the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Championship, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. The Blue Devils will play the No. 11 seed Clemson at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Duke (15-12, 6-6 ACC) faced Clemson on Friday, April 13, claiming a 5-2 victory. The Blue Devils captured the doubles point with wins on courts three and one. Duke mounted a 3-0 advantage with singles wins by redshirt junior Nicolas Alvarez and sophomore Ryan Dickerson before Clemson got a point to make it a 3-1 deficit.
