DURHAM – The Duke women's lacrosse team will take on Loyola in an NCAA first round matchup Friday in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Blue Devils (10-8) and Greyhounds (17-2) received at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament. The squads will square off Friday in Philadelphia, Pa. Host and eighth-seed Penn (13-4) will face Richmond (13-5) Friday as well.
Duke and Loyola meet for the fifth time in program history and for the first time since 2016 with the series tied, 2-2.
Duke makes its 22nd NCAA Tournament appearance and the first since 2022. The Blue Devils own a 27-21 overall record on the big stage that includes 16 quarterfinal and seven semifinal appearances.
