DURHAM – Duke University Vice President and Director of Athletics Nina King announced Saturday that head men's basketball coach Jon Scheyer has agreed to a new six-year contract through the 2028-29 season.
The 2010 Duke graduate, who signed an initial five-year contract when he was named head coach, enters his second year as the head coach of his alma mater in 2023-24.
"Jon Scheyer has seamlessly continued the championship culture in Duke Basketball with his relentless energy, passion and attention to detail," said King. "He and his staff hold their team to the highest standard.
