DURHAM, N.C.-- The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), in partnership with the Duke Community Service Center, sponsored three families through the Project Share Program. Project Share, a program which Duke University has participated in for almost four decades, is an annual community service program that provides gifts to local families during the holiday season. Over the past 12 years, Duke student-athletes have joined in with the holiday spirit.
This year, under the first-year leadership of SAAC Reps Erin Marsh (T&F), Mackenzie Cole (WS), and Kincey Smith (VB), Duke student-athletes raised over $1,200 dollars from the varsity sports teams.
