DURHAM – Micah Boyd, an Olympic and World Championships medalist, has been named as an assistant coach for Duke rowing.
Boyd is yet another addition to the coaching staff with international experience following the previously announced hire of Hamish Bond in early August. Boyd was a multi-time member of the United States national team, including when he won the bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games as a member of the men's eight and also secured a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships with the men's coxed pair.
