EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – Graduate running back Jordan Waters rushed for two touchdowns as No. 18 Duke improved to 4-0 on the season with a 41-7 victory over Connecticut on Saturday afternoon at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
The Duke defense held Connecticut to just 203 total yards as senior Aeneas Peebles logged 2.5 tackles for loss and redshirt senior DeWayne Carter added a 26-yard fumble return for a touchdown. The Huskies' lone score of the day came with 12 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
