Duke target Trevor Keels originally planned to announce on April 4th, which would have been Sunday, but has decided instead to announce Friday night during halftime of the Final Four game between Baylor and Houston.
His personal Final Four are Duke, Kentucky, Villanova and Virginia. As you may remember, he’s a high school teammate of Duke guard Jeremy Roach, both having played at Paul VI in Chantilly, Virginia.
He would give Duke a solid outside scoring presence, something the team could have used this year to buttress Matthew Hurt, and if Hurt opts to leave for the NBA, obviously Keels could claim a bigger role.
