DURHAM – The Duke men's lacrosse team garnered the No. 3 spot in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division I Men's Preseason Top 20 poll released Monday. The ranking is compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff in consultation with college coaches.
Reigning NCAA Champion Virginia tops the list, while 2021 runner-up Maryland is second. Georgetown and Notre Dame round out the top five at Nos. 4 and 5,
respectively.
The Blue Devils feature a depth of talent all over the field and return five of their top six scorers and two of the three starting close defensemen and goaltender Mike Adler.
