DURHAM, N.C. – For the 29th time out of the last 30 years, Duke University led all ACC schools with 489 selections on the league’s 61st annual Honor Roll released Thursday by Commissioner John Swofford.
The Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference recognized a record 4,472 student-athletes for their work in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.
Duke led all schools with 489 student-athletes recognized, followed by Notre Dame (445), Boston College (422), North Carolina (385), Louisville (351), Virginia (323), Syracuse (282), Virginia Tech (278), Florida State (252), Pitt (239), N.
