CARY, N.C. – The Duke women’s tennis team carried the momentum from day one of the Duke James Bonk Invite into day two of play, posting a perfect 4-0 record in doubles and advancing three singles competitors to the finals of their respective draws.
Senior Beatrice Capra and freshman Ellyse Hamlin remained perfect on the weekend in doubles action, downing TCU’s Caroline Wegner and Mia King, 8-5. Similar to Capra and Hamlin, the duo of junior Chalena Scholl and freshman Jessica Ho maintained its clean slate on the weekend by defeating Georgia Tech’s Kendal Woodard and Paige Hourigan, 8-7 (2).
