DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women’s tennis team makes the short trip to Chapel Hill, N.C., today to begin competition at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships. The five-day tournament, running from Thursday, Oct. 22, through Monday, Oct. 26, begins with the qualifying singles draw Thursday morning and the doubles main draw Thursday afternoon. The matches are scheduled to occur at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
Duke sends a contingent of eight competitors to Chapel Hill, including senior Beatrice Capra, juniors Chalena Scholl and Alyssa Smith, sophomores Samantha Harris and Rebecca Harris and freshmen Ellyse Hamlin, Jessica Ho and Kaitlyn McCarthy.
