HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Paced by rounds of 71 and 72 by freshman Jaravee Boonchant and senior Leona Maguire, the fifth-ranked Duke women’s golf team opened action at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Friday morning at the 6,160-yard, par 71 Pete Dye Course at the Long Cove Club.
Alabama kicked off action with a two-over, 286, Friday and leads the team standings, while Northwestern (287), Arkansas (290), LSU (291), Furman (292), Mississippi State (292), Arizona State (293), North Carolina (293), Georgia (294), Duke (295) and Vanderbilt (295) rounding out the top 10 teams.
