Duke has extended a scholarship offer to class of 2016 forward Javin DeLaurier, according to Andrew Slater of 247Sports.
Slater tweeted on Monday night that the 4-star forward from Charlottesville, Va., received an offer from Duke coaches during an in-home visit.
At 6’9″, 205 pounds, DeLaurier is listed in the 247Sports Composite as the No. 12 power forward and No. 40 overall player in the class of 2016.
He announced last week that he’d cut his list to six finalists: Arizona, Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Texas. He’s scheduled to make an official visit to the Duke campus on the weekend of October 24.
