DURHAM – The Duke volleyball team, in partnership with NC Central volleyball, held a community event at the Boys & Girls Club in Durham on Wednesday. The event was held prior to the historic matchup between the two teams on Sept. 13 on NC Central's campus.
The match against the Eagles on Sept. 13 will mark the first time a Duke team has competed on NC Central's campus since the 1970s. The historic match will also serve as a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties.
"Duke volleyball is so grateful for the opportunity to join North Carolina Central volleyball in supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Durham & Orange Counties this fall," associate head coach Kellie Catanach Johnson said.
