Duke Moves to Tie for Third at Kiawah Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Duke men’s golf team was in red numbers at the Kiawah Classic by Aramark on Tuesday, firing a six-under 282 as a group to surge into a tie for third with one round left to play.

The Blue Devils stand at one-under for the tournament with a total of 575, nine strokes behind leader Charleston Southern.

“I was certainly pleased today and I know they guys were more satisfied with today’s round than yesterday,” Duke head coach Jamie Green said. “We did an excellent job of being less affected by things we couldn’t control.
