Duke Men’s Season Debut Cut Short Due to Weather

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Duke men’s cross country team made an aggressive, early move at the Hokie Invite, leading the race with a pack of 11 runners at the front, but lightning forced host school Virginia Tech to call the race at the three-kilometer mark. “We looked great,” head coach Norm Ogilvie said. “We had a really good start. It was a frustrating, early end to the evening, but our guys can come away feeling really good about what they accomplished.
