DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke men’s cross country team welcomes crosstown opponent NC Central to campus Saturday morning for this year’s running of the Bull City Classic. The six-kilometer race is scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. start in Morris Williams Stadium.
The Blue Devils remain undefeated against NC Central, sweeping the Eagles in five previous meetings between the two teams dating back to 2009. Saturday’s meet marks the third year the cross country race coincides with the Duke and NC Central football game, which is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff in Wallace Wade Stadium.
Six Blue Devils comprise Duke’s starters list Saturday, with three harriers, including sophomores Josiah Hanko, Sean Kelly and Kyle Carrozza, making their 2015 cross country debuts.
