DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke men’s fencing team produced an undefeated performance on its home strips at the annual Duke Meet in Card Gymnasium. The Blue Devil men now own a season record of 20-4 (1-0 ACC) after their 4-0 showing.
On the day, the Duke men logged victories against ACC foe North Carolina (16-11), Brandeis (22-5), Johns Hopkins (23-4) and fifth-ranked Penn State (16-11). The victory over the Tar Heels marks the 24th year in a row in which Duke has defeated North Carolina while the victory over fifth-ranked Penn State is the second over a ranked opponent in two weeks as the Blue Devil men defeated 10th-ranked Stanford at the Northwestern Duals.
