DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's cross country team will head to Greenville, N.C., to compete in the 8k Pirate Invite on Lake Kristi Friday afternoon starting at 4:40 p.m.
18 schools will compete, including Barton, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Duke, East Carolina, Elizabeth City State, Elon, Hampton, Methodist, NC State, North Carolina Wesleyan, Norfolk State, Richmond, Saint Augustine, UNC Greensboro, UNCW, VCU and Western Carolina.
Last season, the Blue Devils took first place out of 12 teams with 31 total points.
Duke heads into Greenville with a 28-1 overall record and ranked fifth in the USTFCCCA Southeast Regional rankings.
