DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men’s cross country program supplemented its 2019-20 recruiting class, adding another signee Connor Wells.
Wells, a native of Purcellville, Va., comes to Duke from Loudoun Valley High School as a distance runner. Wells was on the Nike National Team Champion for both his junior and senior season, and was also a two-time team state champion for Loudoun Valley in Virginia. He is currently ranked third in the nation in the indoor 3,200m with his early season time of 9:23.03. He owns personal-best times of 4:16.44 in the 1,600m, and 15:24.
