DURHAM, N.C. – The seventh-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team will look to make its 16th quarterfinal appearance Sunday as it will face No. 12 Maryland in NCAA Championship second round action. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m., at Koskinen Stadium on ESPN3.

This is the first time the Blue Devils and Terrapins have met since Maryland was in the ACC. Maryland is 19-9 all-time against Duke and has won five in a row in the series. Maryland and Duke last met in the 2014 NCAA Quarterfinals, as Maryland came away with a 15-8 victory.
