DURHAM, N.C. – After claiming its second ACC Crew of the Week recognition last week, the Duke rowing team looks to keep its early season success rolling in Charlottesville, Va., in the Big Ten/ACC Dual.
Of the two regattas and 10 races the Blue Devils have competed in this season, eight have resulted in first-place finishes. Duke swept the event sheet at the Carolina Cup, winning all five races and taking first place with an overall score of 90. Two weeks later, at the Cooper Sprints in Cherry Hill, N.J., the Blue Devils won three of five events and placed three boats in second-place.
