DURHAM – Duke baseball landed its third consecutive top-25 recruiting class as announced by Baseball America on Wednesday, slotting in at 21st in the country.
Highlighted by four top-500 prospects, the 2024 class features key position players and pitchers joining the Blue Devils this season. Freshman AJ Gracia, a two-way player out of Monroe, N.J., stands out for his easy left-handed swing and hitability. The 6-foot-3 outfielder and pitcher, brings a good feel to the plate and a strong arm on the mound.
Sam Harris has a big build at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds and a powerful left-handed swing, while creating above-average bat speed and plenty of raw power.
