DURHAM, N.C.—For the first time since 2008, Duke landed three members on the prestigious USILA Men’s Lacrosse All-America First Team as announced by the association Thursday morning. Justin Guterding, Brad Smith and Cade Van Raaphorst each garnered first-team recognition, while JT Giles-Harris was a third-team pick and Peter Conley honorable mention.
Duke is the lone school to have three representatives on the first team and just one of three programs to have multiple picks. The Blue Devils also had three first-team choices in 2008 and a record four in 2007.
