Duke’s kickoff specialist, Jack Willoughby, who has graduated from the University, has decided to get one more year of eligibility and transfer to reigning National Champion Ohio State. Willoughby is most remembered for his successful onside kick at the end of the half against Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, and will be earning a one year masters degree.
Willoughby walked on to the Duke football team in his freshman season after receiving All-American honors as a soccer player in high school. He earned the role of kick-off specialist with three games remaining in the 2013 season, taking the spot from previous All-ACC performer Ross Martin.
