Frank Jackson was showing great promise and ability in one and a half quarters in the Las Vegas Summer League with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The former Duke guard missed all of last season with the Pelicans due to a right foot fracture, and when cutting into the lane on Friday against the Toronto Raptors Summer League team, Jackson went down in a heap of pain holding his foot.
Luckily for Jackson, the injury he sustained was not on his right foot, but rather his left ankle as after the game Jackson was diagnosed with a left ankle sprain and was considered day to day.
