Former Duke Blue Devil Jabari Parker agreed to a two-year deal worth $40 million with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. A few hours later, his soon-to-be teammate and fellow former Blue Devil, Wendell Carter Jr., used his final NBA Summer League game to exhibit his other-worldly rebounding abilities.
The rookie collected a whopping 16 rebounds, including six on the offensive end, in just 30 minutes of action during the Bulls’ 72-66 loss to the Detroit Pistons in the second round of the Las Vegas Summer League tournament.
Beyond rebounding, though, the rest of the former Blue Devil’s stat sheet was far less impressive.
